[REVIEW] Goodal Moisture Barrier Cream Fresh

Hello there ~ Today I'm reviewing Goodal Moisture Barrier Cream Fresh for you guys. I ordered this one from Cosmetic Love back in August and have been using it pretty much every day and I've used about 3/4 now. If you're curious about this product - continue reading more after the cut :)

This innovative sherbet-like cream comes in a texture that is as soft as whipped cream. It is specially formulated with mistletoe complex and ceramides, helping to strengthen the skin's moisture barrier. In addition, it is infused with 69% mineral-rich Seoraksoo Complex, a water sourced from South Korea's Seorak Mountain, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a biosphere reserve. Your complexion is visibly smoother, brighter and stronger skin with Goodal's Moisture Barrier Cream Fresh.

Key Benefits:
  • Fermented mistletoe extract and ceramides fortify the skin's ability to retain moisture and provide improved absorption into skin for long lasting hydration
  • Soft sherbert-like textured cream moisturizer instantly melts into skin for lasting hydration
  • Infused with mineral-rich Seoraksoo Complex for boosted and nourishing hydration
  • Repairs damaged skin barriers
  • Improves elasticity and defends skin from aging factors

The outer packaging is absolutely stunning. I think it's really beautiful and well done. There's not too much text yet there still is everything you need to know in English and in Korean. The product itself comes in a jar which has a twistable cap and another protective lid under. I love the fact that this comes with a spatula. The jar feels pretty sturdy and is quite heavy.

You can buy Goodal Moisture Barrier Cream Fresh from Cosmetic Love like I did. The price is around 20-24 USD depending if it's on sale or not. Remember to use my referral link (affiliate link) to get a special 15% discount coupon.

Goodal Moisture Barrier Cream Fresh has quite strong scent that somehow reminds me of that "rich people scent" that some department stores have. It's not your typical fruity and floral, all girly-girly scent but more like a refined, well-mannered and lady-like scent. I suck at describing scents but I hope you get what I mean...

The texture of this is a bit like butter. It's more like balm than cream in my opinion. It reminds me of the texture that Banila Co. cleansing balm has. Actually the scent is quite similar with that one as well. I don't need to use a lot of the product at once yet I can spread it easily on my face, neck and even to my hands in just few seconds. After spreading it I tap my skin lightly to make the product absorb faster.

I personally love using this one under makeup because it makes my makeup stick on my skin better and also makes it last longer. I don't know what magic this is made of. Despite having alcohol denat in it this one doesn't irritate or dry out my skin at all. Usually I tend to avoid products with alcohol but in this one it doesn't matter. And it's at the end of the INCI list so I think there's not much alcohol in this?

+ Comes with a spatula
+ Informative & pretty packaging
+ A little amount goes long way - thus this lasts long
+ Does what it promises & even more
+ Makes the makeup stick on better & helps it last longer

- Scent is tad too strong in my opinion
- Some people might consider this a bit too expensive
- Alcohol can irritate the skin if your skin is extremely sensitive

RATING: 4½/5  Would I repurchase this product? I'm not sure. I really love this but I think this would be even better without alcohol and fragrance. It's not extreme winter yet but during autumn my skin really loved this. I'll have to see how this product works for me during the winter.

Have you tried anything from Goodal? I'd love to know what other products are worth investing in. Comment below and let me know ~~
