[REVIEW] Etude House Moistfull Collagen Sleeping Pack

Hi ~ Long time no review :) I've been checking google analytics and seems like most people finds their way to my blog because of reviews or TOP-series. So I'm trying to write more reviews for now. Today I'm reviewing Moistfull Collagen Sleeping Pack by Etude House ~ Keep on reading if you're curious about the product.

Formulated with Baobab Leaf Mucus and hydrolyzed Marine Collagen, this overnight leave-in treatment creates a protective barrier on your skin, locking in vital moisture while you beauty sleep for a youthful, water bouncy skin. 4-Free Formula: No Parabens, Benzophenone, Mineral Oil, Talc.
After moisturizing, smooth evenly on face before sleeping. Do not rinse off - the product will absorb. Cleanse in morning with warm water. -- Taken from Etude House

The sleeping pack comes in a jar that contains 100ml of the product. The jar comes in a box that has all the information such as directions, cautions as well as ingredients written in Korean and in English. That's good because then there's no need to search online on how to use it ! The minus side is that there is no spatula with it. The jar is a twist type and has a protective lid also :) The product is good to use 12 months after opening.

The packaging looks nice ~ It's a bit more classy looking than the usual cute packaging from Etude House. I guess the target audience of the product ranges from 20 to 35 because it's from their Collagen line. This is to be used at the last step of skin care routine.

I bought mine from Cosmetic Love where the price is 13,45$ but this is also sold at Etude House's own webstore at the price of 10$. I'm sure this can be also found at any other webstores that sells Korean cosmetics.

The scent is really pleasant to my nose. It's somewhat flowery yet fruity and reminds me of citrus scent. It's pretty strong at first but it gets milder when applied on face. When the product has absorbed there's pretty much no scent left.

The texture is pretty thick. At least when compared to the sleeping pack from TonyMoly. Little amount goes a long way ! I use this every now and then when I feel like my face needs some extra moisture. If I use this too often (for example 2 nights in a row) I'm pretty sure to breakout. I think people with dry and really dry skin might need to use this more often than me with an oily-mixed-sensitive skin. I think 1-3 times a week is a good general use direction for me. During the winter maybe 3 times, summer once in a week etc.

Below is a photo of the texture and how the sleeping pack applies and absorbs on to my hand. On my face it doesn't absorb as quickly because obviously the skin on my hands is a lot thinner and drier than on my face. So keep that in mind :)

+ Price
+ Easy to find online
+ Does what it promises to do
+ Doesn't smell bad
+ Absorbs pretty fast
+ Good packaging information
+ 4-free product

- No spatula, unhygienic jar
- Breaks me out when used too often
- Contains alcohol, might be bad for some people

RATING: 3/5  Would I repurchase this product? I don't think I will. I feel like this isn't the ideal sleeping pack for people with oily/mixed skin type. This isn't bad but it's not as good as the TonyMoly one. I'm going to keep searching for "the one" :)

That's all for now. Have you tried this sleeping pack before? If you have, how did you like it? Comment below and tell me ~ I hope you all have a great weekend. I'm going to a birthday party tomorrow :) Next post will be out most likely on Monday so look forward to see that one ^^

  1. I'd tried this before and it doesn't work well on my combination skin too. Now I'm using The Face Shop Raspberry Roots Sleeping Mask, that really works well on oily/combination skin : )

    1. Oh, I've never heard about that one before :) Thanks for telling me ~ I might check it out when I need to buy a new sleeping pack :)

  2. Sori, mun kone vammailee! :D

Eli siis mulla oli tästä pieni näyte ja tykkäsin, mut tosissaan kesti kyllä hetken imeytyä ihoon :P

ps. Mun blogissa on sulle Liebster Award -haaste :)

    1. Haha ihmettelinkin, että miksi sama kommentti tuli kolmeen kertaan :D

Kiitos haasteesta :) Oon tehnyt sen blogissa aiemminkin... :D
