[REVIEW] Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask

Hello lovelies ~ Time for another review ^^ Today I'm reviewing Innisfree Super volcanic pore clay mask which I got from Wan Wei around May/June ~ On my skin care product introduction post I got asked if I could do a review about this. So here it is ~

I'll let these pictures from Innisfree site to be a description because I have nothing better to add... :D You can click the photos bigger if needed ~

I know this comes in a box which is made of recycled paper and has info in English as well. However I got this without box so I can't say anything about the box. The mask itself is in a 100ml tub. It doesn't come with a spatula which I think would be good to have. From the tub you can read that it's good to use for 12 months after opening. With my very limited hangul understanding and basic knowledge I can read from the tub that it's recommended to use the mask 1-2 times a week. It also has a lid that prevents the mask from drying. And can I just say that the tub is very cute in my opinion ~

You can buy this from various sites and the price varies depending where you buy. For example on Cosmetic Love it costs 17.45$. There's also a bigger 200ml tube version and I think I read somewhere that it's also cheaper. Correct me if I'm wrong :D

The scent is really mild and has a slight mud/clay-like scent to it. Unless you sniff it by stuffing the mask inside your nose you most likely won't smell a thing. It's really good for those who are sensitive with scents.

The texture is really thick. It's like paste when you're applying the mask on your face. I've been reading other reviews online and apparently there are soft and hard version of the mask. I'm guessing mine is hard version?

Below is a picture of my face and what the mask looks like when it's applied evenly on the face. You can notice that I have biggest pores on my cheek area. I let it sit on my face for about 10-20 minutes and then rinse it off while massaging my face. It has little volcanic scoria capsules inside that helps to exfoliate your skin when you're rinsing it off :)

Below are the results I got after one use. No huge results but then again, I don't have huge pores... I can say that it definitely brightened up my skin tone and suck extra oil away ~

before - after pictures on my chin

before - after pictures on my cheek

+ Really mild scent
+ Exfoliates pretty well
+ Brightens and evens out my skin tone
+ Gets rid of the sebum on my face and deep cleanses my skin
+ Multiple ways to use the product

- Price
- No spatula
- Unhygienic tub
- No drastic results

RATING: 3½/5  Would I repurchase this? I wouldn't repurchase this. Maybe the tube version but not the tub version. I think this is one of the products that works the best for those who have a lot of large pores and blackheads. My pores are pretty small so I only see small results ~

2015 UPDATE!!
NEW RATING: 4½/5  and I will keep repurchasing this until I find something better.

That's it for this review ~ Have you tried this product before? How did you like it? Do you recommend clay masks from other brands? Comment below and let me know ^^
