[REVIEW] Etude House CC Cream (silky)

Long time no write ~ The summer has finally arrived to Finland and May is ending soon. Yesterday was like the hottest spring day in 60 years. It beat the record and I read from a newspaper today that some snakes also climbed up to a tree ! Wow! Today it's hot and humid as well so I thought I'd finish writing this post and might go jogging later. Or not.

Anyhow this post is a review about Etude House CC Cream in Silky which I bought on February. I've been using this for a few times alone without and with powder and under BB Cream. I can say now that it's best used alone with powder. But let's go to the review ~ Oh and in this review I used it alone without powder.

3 Efficacies: Whitening + Anti-Wrinkle + Sun Protection SPF 30/PA++

This multitasking 8-in-1 formula hydrates, primes, conceals, treats and protects skin at an easy single step for a healthier complexion, inside and outside. It glides on with a silky smooth finish. - Taken from the packaging itself

It comes in a pretty tube with a pump cap. That's sooo cool and hygienic ~ One pump is enough to cover my whole face so it will also last long. The packaging has all the information in English but in the tube itself they're in Korean. I don't think the tube is travel friendly that much because it might explode if it gets too much pressure on it. And you don't want it to ruin all of your stuff in your bag.

You can buy it on amazon, Cosmetic Love, ibuybeauti and many other sites as well. The price varies between 15-18$ depending on the site.

The scent is typical Etude House; girly, sweet and somewhat flowerish and fresh. It's a nice scent to me ^^ The texture is white and it has beads which will change color once you blend it. It's easy to blend with fingers. I don't know how it would blend with brush or sponge because of the beads.

I didn't do any cover test but I tested it first on my hand to see how the color matches my skin tone. Below are the results in fake light and in natural daylight. It has a slightly pink undertone I think and it brightens the skin really well. It looks really natural and not as heavy like some BB Creams do.

And below is how the coverage looks on my skin. Really natural and it conceals redness really well. I put only one pump = one layer on my face.

And here's the result how it looks on my whole face. I'm surprised at how the result looks ! I always thought CC Creams are less covering than BB Creams. But because I have an oily combination skin I had to add powder straight after I finished taking the pics. I also didn't take any oil test because of that. If you're looking for even more coverage you can just add another layer to the parts needed or top it with BB Cream.

+ Hygienic pump which makes it easy to use
+ Covers well
+ Good scent
+ Pretty packaging
+ Works well alone, with powder and under BB Cream
+ Gives a natural look

- Might be too whitening for some people (even though it says it should match all the skin tones)
- Not travel friendly

RATING: 4½/5  Would I repurchase this product? I'm 80% sure I will (unless I come across to a better option).

That's it for this review ~ Have you tried this or the Glow version? How do you like it? Comment below and let me know ^^ Bye ♥♥
